TAS Co., Ltd. took part in WTM 2025 as a co-exhibitor within the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau (TCVB) booth. The event saw strong attendance overall, and the joint booth featuring ten leading companies representing Tokyo’s tourism industry made a significant impression on visitors.
During the exhibition, our team held business meetings with 74 major European travel agencies, primarily from the United Kingdom, along with strong interest from Spanish-speaking regions and Eastern Europe. Notably, approximately 60% of inquiries were related to FIT (Free Independent Travel), highlighting the growing demand for customized individual travel.
We also observed a particularly strong trend in mid- to upper-segment FIT travel. TAS arranged and conducted pre-scheduled appointments with around 30 companies, proceeding fully according to plan. Our ability to communicate in Spanish and our use of detailed maps of Japan during explanations were especially well received.
Moving forward, we will continue participating in events like this to promote the unique attractions of various regions to international markets, strengthen our global presence, and contribute to increasing inbound travel to Japan. TAS remains committed to further enhancing our services to meet these goals.
