2024.11.08A total of 80 junior high school students and teachers from Calgary, Canada visited Kanazawa for 4 days and 3 nights on a tour under the incentive program of Kanazawa City. TAS arranged the plans of the school trip students and provided services to deepen their learning through traditional Japanese cultural experiences such as gold leaf experience and a stroll through the tea house district.
This project was conducted using the “Incentive Funds for Educational Travel to Japan” provided by Kanazawa City in the previous fiscal year. This was the first time that the incentive funds were used for inbound school trips.
The results of this initiative are,
1. Continued promotion of Canadian educational tours and increased awareness of Kanazawa City.
2. Successfully re-established the image of Kanazawa as an accommodation and school trip destination
3. Contributed to the planning and development of ongoing educational travel products for Kanazawa
TAS will not only provide regular travel services to Japan, but also develop proposals and arrangements to meet a wide range of needs and requests from local agents, such as school excursions and MICE, and deliver value to them.
In addition to “Sightseeing,” TAS will continue to plan tours that are chosen by students from many countries as a school trip destination in Japan on the strength of its “Educational Travel” services.
We will continue to contribute to the local revitalization of Kanazawa City and the Hokuriku area while expanding the potential for regional growth and development.
