Tour Grand Prix 2024 Special Jury Award
2024.07.16TAS Co., Ltd. was awarded the Jury’s Special Prize in Tour Grand Prix 2024.
Tour Grand Prix is a competition organized by Tour Grand Prix 2024 Executive Committee and sponsored by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Japan Tourism Agency, and Japan Association of Travel Agents. The purpose of the Tour Grand Prix is to improve planning and marketing capabilities in the travel industry and to contribute to the “Tourism Nation” policy. The Grand Prix is awarded to outstanding proposals for overseas and domestic tours (both solicited and ordered) and inbound tours. TAS was nominated for its “Spring Cross-Japan Tour for First-Time Visitors and Repeaters to Japan”. This year, the 30th edition of the award, 153 tours were entered, the largest number ever since the award was launched in 1990, and the award was won after a fierce competition.

This tour across the Japanese archipelago focuses on cherry blossoms in spring, which are popular among foreign visitors to Japan. The tour was highly evaluated for its well-balanced itinerary that includes both classic and newest sightseeing spots that can be enjoyed by both first-time and repeat visitors to Japan. We look forward to seeing the tour expand into a variety of derivative forms in the future.
