Day 1 Afternoon Flight Arrival Hokkaido Chitose Airport -> Tokachikawa Hot Spring(incl. Dinner)

Upon arrival Chitose Airport, meet and transfer to visit Salmon Museum, which built on the Chitose river, which takes its rise in Lake Shikotsu. Various facilities including a giant water tank, a large vision multi-screen and underwater watching room constructed just beside the river, help you enjoy learning about ecology of salmon and fresh-water fish here. Thereafter, journey heading to Tokachikawa, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Hidaka on the way. Tonight, you will stay at Tokachikawa hot spring, which is famous for having vegetable-base hot-spring water.

Day 2 Tokachikawa -> Kushiro -> Lake Akan Hot Spring (incl. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Proceed to visit Ikeda Winery Factory, you will get to sample of the finest wines. After this, After this, proceed to Kushiro, from the Hosooka Observatory, you can see the magnificent view of the marshland. Thereafter, heading to Lake Akan, which is famous for a rare water plant called marimo. Lake Akan Hot spring area, is considered as one of the most beautiful sights in eastern Hokkaido.

Day 3 Lake Akan -> Lake Mashu -> Mt Io -> Abashiri (Ice Breaker Cruise) -> Sounkyo (incl. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Proceed to Lake Mashu, ranks first in transparency in the world. The mysterious lake is rarely seen because of the thick mist, thus, so called “Mysterious Lake”. Next visit will be the Mt Io, is a sulfur mountain, which is covered by yellow sulfur. Thereafter, heading to Abashiri. During winter season, the sea is covered with pack ice drifted from the Sea of Okhotsk, innumerable numbers of ice floes crowd up to the seashore. On board a sightseeing Icebreaker Cruise you can enjoy the grand pageant performed by magnificent ice floes, breaking ice up to one meter thick! If you are lucky, you can see the white-tailed sea eagles and seals. Tonight, stay at Sounkyo Hot Spring area .

Day 4 Sounkyo -> Asahikawa -> Sapporo (incl. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

The Sounkyo Gorge, waterfalls cascading down from pillar-shaped joints become frozen and from huge icicles in extremely cold weather. You will get visit the famous scenery Ryusei-no-taki Falls, and Gingano-taki Falls are especially worth seeing. At both these waterfalls, water falls directly over the cliff, giving them a sense of power. Next, heading to Asahikawa visit Otokayam Sake Factory, to study how a Japanese sake is made. After this, heading back to Sapporo, you may do the shopping at the Tanukikoji Underground shopping.

Day 05 Sapporo -> Otaru -> Sapporo (incl. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Today, proceed to Otaru city, is a lively port city. Now, is known as canal and glasswork city. The Otaru Canal, is the symbol of the commercial city Otaru that once prospered as Hokkaido’s economic hub. Gaslights and stone warehouses along the canal produce an impressive cityscape. You will visit Kitaichi Glass and Otaru Music Box Factory. Then, back to Sapporo visit Susukino, is a night-life spot! And, the famous Ramen Street, currently 16 well-established Ramen restaurants are competing with each other over tastes.

Day 6 Sapporo city -> Chitose Airport for departure (incl. Breakfast)

Next visit is Odori Park, is a 105meter wide, 1.5km long parkway slicing through the heart of the city from east to west. The park, decorated year round by flowers, is an oasis for the citizens. Next, is the Sapporo’s symbol, Clock Tower Building was built in 1878 as the drill hall of Sapporo cultural College. And follow on to the Former Hokkaido Government Building was built in 1888. Thereafter, transfer to Chitose Airport for your flight home sweet home!
